Directions to the Museum
From Atlanta take I-20 West.

Take Exit 140 and turn left onto Hwy.78

Turn right before the Chevron Station onto Rex Lake Road. Turn right onto Barber Motorsports Parkway

Directions to the Vanpool Location at

Georgia Tech

From I-75/85 exit 10^th street. Go West on 10^th street to Northside Dr. Make a left onto Northside Dr. Stay to the left as the road wyes, this is Tech Parkway. At the next light make a left

onto Regents Dr. Turn Right onto Ferst, the parking lot will be on your left.

Time
Van leaves GT: 5:20 eastern time

Meeting: 7:00 central time

Cost:
$15 if you drive yourself

$20 to join the carpool

Meeting Topic:

The International Sections Board of SAE established the Alabama Group earlier this year. The group will be holding it’s first meeting at the Barber Motorsports Museum and has ask the Atlanta Section to join them in celebrating their formation. The event will include access to the museum, hors d’oeuvres and a presentation from the Alabama Group.

You are welcome to drive to the museum or you can ride in the van to the meeting. It is about 140 miles from Atlanta to Birmingham. The van is limited to 14 passengers and space is available on a first come basis.
