Meeting Topic
Caterpillar Plant Tour
The Griffin Plant manufacturers the Caterpillar 3300, 3400 and 3500 series of engines. In addition to engines, the plant also manufactures generators. After a short presentation we will break into smaller groups for a tour of the plant.
There are a few requirements for the plant tour;
- No one under 12 years old!
- The use of cameras is not allowed during plant visits.
- Shoes covering the entire foot are required while in the factory. No open
heels/toes.
- Safety glasses (provided by the facility) must be worn at all times while
in the factory.
- Cellular phone operation in the factory is prohibited.
- No short pants may be worn inside the facility.
- Visitors are required to stay with their tour escorts while in the factory.
